BRAUN plunge saws
The other solution for cutting foundations, for deep cuts and for cuts where overcutting is not possible due to static reasons. Everything that has previously been solved with stitch drilling or by means of a wire saw can be done cost-effectively with this saw. A specially developed flange enables flush cuts as well.
Cutting depths of up to 10 meters are possible with a width of 1200 mm without moving the plunge saw. The only prerequisite is a hole with a diameter of 200 mm, which corresponds to the cutting depth. Smart accessories such as the track guide extend the field of application, even to a series drilling system.
Drive Unit BTS8
with gear motor or axial piston motor
The drive unit for the BTS8 plunge saw, mounted on a drill rig, is available with two different hydraulic drives. This drive unit allows saw blade diameters up to 800 mm.
